I purchased a MacBook on Best Buy’s web site with an indicated receive by date. The morning of the expected delivery I received a shipping delay e-mail. I called customer service and the rep told me that they will ship as soon as possible with no definitive time line. I then called customer service again and spoke with a different rep who indicated it would ship the next day. Yesterday I received a shipping e-mail indicating delivery today. However, today, UPS tracking shows that the laptop has not yet been shipped, only that a shipping label has been printed.
My credit card has been charged and I do not have my laptop nor any indication of when/if I will receive.

I tried calling customer service again today, and the rep confirmed that the laptop has not shipped and that Best Buy sent me the incorrect tracking number, and incorrect shipping information.
The rep then indicated that I will receive another shipment e-mail with a new tracking number sometime in the next few days and I may (or may not) receive the laptop sometime next week.
I then requested to cancel the order and the rep told me that it is impossible to cancel the order at this point.
And the laptop is in stock on-line as well as in the local BB store........so it is not a stocking issue.
So much for being a My Best Buy Elite Plus member.........
So I am stuck in limbo, with NO laptop, NO estimated ship date, and a charge on my credit card!!!

Getting a new MacBook is an exciting purchase, so we truly appreciate that you decided to place your order with us. That said, we know shipping delays are less than ideal so this is far from the interaction we intended when you first came to us for a MacBook.
