I have an order status of "getting it ready" when it's supposed to be arriving tomorrow. Is this normal? Does this mean it hasn't even left the warehouse yet? Delays are to be expected sometimes, but it would be nice to get a status update if it wouldn't be able to arrive on time. I'll probably have to be at home to get it, so I would like to be prepared.

First of all, I'd like to say that I've never had a problem with Best Buy in the past. I've bought tons of appliances and home entertainment stuff, always at Best Buy, over the years and have never had issues. I've even utilized the in-store pick up and curbside options during this pandemic and have had nothing but good experiences. Best Buy has always been a great place for me to shop, until this week.
I put in an order for a Fujifilm x100v on Wednesday, early in the morning, and opted for paying extra for Next day shipping. I received the confirmation but never shipping information. However, it still showed "Arriving tomorrow" in the order status, regardless of a shipping number ever being generated. I was weary of this and did a live chat on Wednesday with a rep, "John {removed per forum guidelines}", who promised it will come on the date shown (Yes, he used that word, and the screenshot will confirm). I figured that, as can happen, perhaps it was just not scanned and I'll still received it the next day.
Thursday morning, today, the next day, I get an email at 4 am saying there are delays in my order, with no additional information (like for instance, when it might be shipped out). I immediately contacted virtual chat, as I was at work. I was provided no help, but actually told I could pick it up at the nearest location that had it. This location was MN and I live in Texas. Thinking this was a joke and an automated system, I called and spoke to someone directly by the name of CJ.
On the phone, I was told that there must be a problem with the inventory and it simply wasn't in stock. I was also told I couldn't receive it till 4/1 shipped to me at the earliest. Even despite this, I could still, and still can at this time, go on your site and view the camera and the order options are still for receiving it in 2 days or next day for an additional cost - I can't but help feel like this is just false advertising and outright a lie.
All in all, I opted just get refunded and I purchase the camer afrom B&H and have already been giving a shipping number and a confirmation on its arrival tomorrow. It pains me though because I will probably never shop at Best Buy again for this. Spending 1500+ bucks to essentially be lied to or mislead isn't an okay business practice.
I'm not even sure what I want or if I want anything at all. I already fixed the problem myself and ordered it from somewhere else. However, I do think this is something that needs to be addressed internally. As I write this message, I can order the camera again from your site and the misinformation is still there.
I have screenshots of all these interactions and recordings, as I like to document stuff especially when lots of money is at stake. I look forward to some type of reponse.

I ordered a 3070 graphics card on 3/12/2021.

I autofilled my address and it did not add a house number. No problem, I know that there is a 30 minute period where I can change my address. The first thing I do is message a represnative in that time frame. They say they would change it, at the end of the webchat they say it was successful. I check after our webchat, no change what so ever. I then message another represnative, they also say that they are going to send it to a back team, and I have to wait another day for results. Nothing has changed after our webchat.

Next day, I call and I explain my situation, the represnative says I have to wait for a tracking number and then I can proceed in changing the address. I had faith and waited for 4 more days until a tracking order number.

I call again, with tracking order from OnTrac. The represnative this time says that they are sending a request to OnTrac. I call OnTrac and they say the address is still the same and didn't get a request. I request a OnTrac shipping address change and they say they need BestBuy's approval. I call back again with a new BestBuy represnative, repeat the process, they say the same thing, check back in 24 hours.

I receive an email from the represnative yesterday,

Your item will still be shipped on the address that you have originally provided on your order as we are unable to modify the delivery address. The item does not qualify or did not meet the requirement to intercept the delivery. Kindly contact us back on 03/22/2021 so that we can provide an option regarding to your order.

THE ORIGINAL DATE OF THE SHIPPING WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 3/22/2021. IT SHIPPED ON 3/19/2021.
I wait for the rebound so I can reship or something.
I don't understand why "The item does not qualify or did not meet the requirement to intercept the delivery", what are the requirments?

I wait for the package all day until I track my order and see that its being held at the OnTrac Faclilty. I knew it wasnt going to deliver because my HOUSE NUMBER IS NOT THERE. I call BestBuy first, the represnative says that something about 24 hour email confromation or something. I honestly could not understand him because of the mic quality.
I then call OnTrac, explain how I want to change the address, the represnative said that they need to get a request from BestBuy. I've heard this multiple times already, everytime a request has been said to been "sent" never has. I don't understand what is so hard about adding a house number, the contract between BestBuy and Ontrac is such a hinderance to the actual customer it's frustrating. I am stuck being the middle man and in a limbo.

I guess im waiting for a reshipment and also a email? The contract does not allow me to pick it up at the shipping carrier for some reason. I saw on another fourm about someone with the same problem. Both our items are usually ALWAYS out of stock and sought after. His got sent to a BestBuy warehouse, if it gets sent back to BestBuy warehouses I will probally lose it and it will be restocked and I will be refunded. I DO NOT WANT TO BE REFUNDED, I JUST WANT MY ITEM. If I get refunded I will be livid. My expectations for the email have been set to the lowest bar and I have little faith, I dont think anything is going to happen, please help. I don't know what to do in this situation, I literally did the only and first step right and that was inquire in the 30 minute time frame.

I HAVE ALL CHAT LOGS AND ALSO TRACKING, EMAIL, ORDER NUMBER, PHONE NUMBER. I ONLY HAVE THE CHAT LOGS REP PEOPLES NAMES, I DO NOT HAVE THE PHONECALL REP NAMES.
