Seriously delayed order

I ordered a pair of Sony - Extra Bass Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones - Red on November 16th through Bestbuy.com. Delivery date was set for tomorrow, November 20th. I also bought the protection plan.

At 10 PM, Sunday, November 19th, I get a message from Best Buy that my order is delayed and they will let me know by December 19th. Seriously? Has Best Buy gone so far down hill that they promise items to get you to buy and then they keep you on the hook for a month or more on the off-chance they MIGHT deliver.

This is really unacceptable. I'm used to short delays but a month?

Guess what? I purchased the item on sale for $79.99 but delivery is delayed. I went online to bestbuy.com and they are now selling the same item at $199.99 and are guaranteeing delivery for November 28th.

So...even though I purchased the item through a legitimate Best Buy online sale, they won't deliver BUT will sell it to me if I'm willing to pay another $120.00.

Disgraceful.

Having an order delayed is always frustrating and I apologize your headphones didn’t come in as soon as you were expecting. Usually when something comes back in stock on our web site that means that already existing order will also be fulfilled, so I’m hopeful that your headphones will be on the way to you shortly.
