Sent defective phone.

I ordered and paid for overnight shipping on an open box unlocked cell phone. Upon arrival and inserted the sim card into the phone, the phone would not recieve any type of signal whatsoever. 

 

This is the 2nd time that I have purchased an open box item from Best Buy, and the 2nd time that the item was defetive right out of the box. It seems clear to me that Best Buy simlipy puts defective items back on the shelf for resale, regardless of the items functionality.

 

I called Best Buy immediatley. The service representative was not helpful in anyway. Asked me to return the item to a Best Buy store. I am 3 hours away from the nearest Best Buy. Finally offered an exchange, but would not overnight ship me the exchange, despite that I paid for overnight shipping on the defective item. The rep was extremely unhelpfull and did not seem to care for the customer at all. 

 

After spending thousands of dollars over the years, being an "elite plus member" at that, you get treated like trash, and sent trash products that dont work.
