Seeking Help w/ Recent Order - Says Delivered, but Still Haven't Received

Hello Best Buy Community/Support,

 

I am growing anxious and concerned with regards to my latest online order, and I am now vexed as to the actual status, or whereabouts of that order - therefore, I am here to seek your help/resolution.

 

First off, I do want to mention that this was the first purchase I've made via my new Best Buy Visa credit card that I qualified for - not only do I appreciate the generous reward certificate incentive that was offered with it, but I truly appreciate the fact that Best Buy continues to offer its products at strict MSRP pricing, and without a pricing mark-up that all other major retail chain-businesses I shop at (GameStop, Target, etc.) have implemented for the exact-same product(s). For that, I want to give a heartfelt "Thank You" to Best Buy, and all of the people behind it.

 

I placed an online order on Sunday, January 22nd for three items totaling just under $150 USD. The advertised delivery date on the item page and at check-out was Monday, January 30th. This was consistent with the delivery timeframe from my previous online orders with Best Buy - which is a week plus one-to-two days; therefore, yesterday was the stipulated delivery date and when I've been expecing to take delivery of my order.

 

Yesterday came and went without receipt of my order (which I purchased as a gift needed for this upcoming Saturday (February 4th)). I checked status of my order earlier, and got a sinking feeling in my stomach along with feeling slightly angry at the information being displayed - it shows my order as being Delivered; furthermore, it states that my order was "Delivered on Jan 27, 2023" which would have been this past Friday (four days ago, and much earlier than was confirmed at check-out when placing the order.)

 

I had expected that this order would have needed to be signed for given that the order totaled well over $100, so I can't help that I am now starting to feel frustrated. If this information regarding my order is true, then I believe this would have been the first time I've ever received an order from Best Buy earlier than the minimum ETA; that isn't at all meant to suggest any negative connotations regarding Best Buy, nor their delivery time, but rather seems to be a constant I've had to deal with regarding shipping companies and the fact that I live on the remote-end at the border of my Zip Code.

 

The package was not left with any of my Neighbors, and I am now growing a bit of panic as Fri - Sun I don't get back home until later in the evening (well after-dark during this time of year) and there has been a growing problem with a homeless camp down the hill from my residence, and drifters coming up into the neighborhood. 

 

I am asking for a member of the Customer Support team here to please help me resolve the issues I'm experiencing with this order. My order consisted of three of the same items that were purchased as a gift needed by this upcoming weekend; I do not have the option available to me to simply re-purchase/re-submit the order, and seek a refund for my present order in-limbo as the item is no longer available for me to purchase additional units/in-stock. In addition, I'm also concerned that having to seek a refund for the order might void the reward certificate from my Best Buy Visa that the total of this purchase qualified me for, and was the primary factor for me making this purchase to begin with.

 

 

Thanks very much to the Best Buy team for your concern, and assistance in helping me to resolve the issue(s) with my recent orde and first-time purchasing experience with my new Best Buy Visa credit card.
