I made an online order on bestbuy.com yesterday because bestbuy was offering one day shipping on items that were not available in the store. I was impressed because even Amazon didn't have that option. So I checked out and shortly after recieved an email stating my order was going to be delivered the same day. I read through all of the online articles about one day shipping and so I waited until 9pm. I tried calling afterwards but was thrown around all the prerecorded messages and didn't bother wasting my time further.
Here I am after 24 hours since the order was made, nothing delivered, not even a correspondence from bestbuy.com about the delay. Online tracking shows that my order is still "processing".
What a joke. I can care less about the extra shipping cost. I understand delays can happen in this busy season. So if it wasn't delivered by the same day, give me an honest timeframe so I can decide if I need to cancel the order and order it elsewhere, where their delivery times are on the dot. It just bothers me that I haven't even received a single corresspondence on the status of delay. Now I'm skeptical if I'd even receive it today.
