STUDENT DEALS

I had issues while trying to purchase a laptop online for my son. It was offered as a student deal & I couldn’t get the deal to populate during “check out”. I chatted with 4 different agents & was told to wait on a call back. No one called, I tried calling for 3 days & finally received a call back from a supervisor who assured me he’d take care of my issue but needed to call me back after he was able to have the chats retrieved. It’s been a week & still no resolve. The student deal has obviously expired & my Son is without a laptop. I can not afford to purchase the laptop without the $300 discount we had been waiting to utilize. I wasn’t able to go back in my history & retrieve the chats proving my issue was prior the deal expiring because I was chatting in the Beat Buy portal on the BestBuy.com website. I need someone who knows how to retrieve those chats so I can still be eligible for the deal. PLEASE - any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Best Buy's Student Deals are a terrific way to help ensure your student has the best equipment for your son's education. Complications in taking advantage of the offers are not what we hope to hear about and I regret that this has been your experience.

 

I'd like look into this for you. I understand that you were attempting to apply a coupon for $300 off on your purchase. What laptop were you hoping to buy for your son? What date did you first attempt to place your order? Was there a message that described the issues you encountered when you tried to place your order on BestBuy.com? Did the agents with whom you worked by chat or phone give you any indication of the problem they encountered while assisting you with placing your order?

 

Any additional information you can provide will be helpful. I look forward to hearing from you.
