I've had 3 orders in a row now where I placed the order and selected "same day" or "next day" delivery to my home. In every. single. one. of. the. orders... the item did not arrive as scheduled / promised. It is absolutely maddening. I don't mind paying a delivery fee for same-day service. I don't mind running out to the store if that's the only way to get it same day. What I cannot stand is being promised something not once, not twice, but three times now of a delivery timeline that is simply not met.
This most recent order is an item for travel. When the option came up yesterday for same day delivery - I thought "surely this won't happen 3 times in a row..." I was wrong.
If I were at best buy, I'd be rethinking my relationship with your delivery partner Roadie as well as the implementation of same day delivery. My last 3 experiences at Best Buy have been poor because (and only because) of your shipping partner Roadie. The website should not promise same day delivery. It should say "delivered whenever our shipping partner deems it important enough to deliver." Because that's the reality right now. If I were at Best Buy working in finance, I wouldnt' want to compensate roadie for poor service / missed timelines / poor customer experiences that reflect poorly on Best Buy.
And again, I don't mind waiting a day or two OR picking it up. But it is imperative to give buyers an accurate estimate so they can make decisions as to how best to receive the items they are buying. I'm in a pinch and "hoping" the item is delivered today when I could have just picked up the item yesterday if I'd known it wouldn't be delivered yesterday.
Extremely frustrating and extremely disappointing to have this be a recurring theme. As of now, I'm done with the same day delivery option. It's simply untrue. I cannot trust your delivery partner to deliver as indicated on the website.
