Returned Item Damaged in Mail

I recently sent two returns back to Best Buy via mail. A tripod and computer mouse. Each in their own package and both sent from a UPS store.

 

The tripod shows a "A damage has been reported and we will notify the sender." message as of August 18th but I have not been notified by anyone of what will happen next or how I'll recieve my refund.

 

The computer mouse on the other hand shows that it was delievered on August 18th but I have yet to recieve a refund for it.

 

Where should I go to get an update on the status of my return and my refund proccessed?

Update: the mouse shows as returned now but the tripod is still in limbo.

Welcome to our forums!  Generally speaking, you should expect your return to be processed 7-10 business days after it arrives to our Return Center, so it’s disappointing to hear at least one of your items you’ve return might be taking a bit longer than originally anticipated to get returned and processed.

 

I’ll be happy to take a closer look into this return, however, I’ll just need a few pieces of information from you in order to do so.  If you could use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number
