Return to sender and refund

I purchased an item on the Best Buy website. But after a few missed delivery attempts, I decided to return the item back to the original sender. When should I be getting a refund for this item? I can provide any information needed.

Hi there, QuarterMuncher,

 

Welcome to our community.  I’ve often had deliveries occur while I wasn’t at home, and there have been a few times when I wasn’t aware a signature was required for my package.  As a result, the carrier had to attempt a re-delivery multiple times, and I’m sure it created as much frustration for them as it did for me.

 

With BestBuy.com orders, shipping carriers will usually attempt delivery three times before the package is automatically returned to Best Buy and a refund is issued for the order.  When that happens, you should see the funds appear back in your account once our Online Returns Center has processed the return and issued a refund, which may take around 5-7 business days.  If you haven’t received your refund yet, and more than a week has passed since the package was returned to us, please send me a private message with the below information and I will see what I can do to help.
