Return dropped off at store, refund total incorrect amount, can't chat or call

Hello, I made some purchases online and got some items shipped, one of them I returned along with two other curbside pickup items. I left the parking lot after being told I would get an email receipt and went home.

 

The item in question is a 2x8GB kit of RAM, and after I got the home and checked email about the return being accepted, I see that the refunded amount is incorrect. I tried calling but the automated system hangs up on me when I say it is about a return. The chat feature says nobody is available for live chat.

 

Here is the refund transaction, I have verified that this is the only email that could be referring to the RAM that I physically returned, total refund $47.89

So where did my $26.10 go? How can I get any more information about this if nobody will talk to me? Is there no email for Best Buy customer support?

Thanks for reaching out to us on this, and I can certainly understand your concern if you were not refunded the correct amount for this RAM. I looked at your order and it does look like it was returned correctly. What date did you return this RAM, and has this return posted to your account (or is it merely pending at this point)?

Thanks for the reply, I returned it today, a few hours ago (5/22/2020). After reading your reply and any related support thread I could find, it looks like I should wait for the refund to fully post to my account. Should I reply or post a new support thread after the funds finish posting?

Thanks for the follow-up on this. Ya, I would wait til the refund posts to your account before determining there is something wrong with this refund. By all means, update this thread once you have seen this refund posted to your account.

Ok the refunds all finished posting to my account, and it is still the $47.89 price that got refunded, instead of $73.99. Could this happen because I ordered online but returned in store, and the person doing the return looked up the price manually and somehow got it wrong?

 

What should I do now, since I can't call or chat due to the Best Buy web site and phone system?
