I recently needed to return a computer which I purchased online. When I tried to return it to the store I was told I would not get a full refund because the purchase included a “free “ 6 month security subscription. Even though I had not activated the subscription I would be charged $30. The only way to get a full refund was to ship the computer back, After shipping it back , it took one week for the refund to be processed. However, now I’m told it will be another 5 business days ( one week) until my rewards points are refunded. In the meantime the computer I wanted to purchase once the refund was completed is no longer available. Why does it take so long to get a full refund? It will have taken almost 3 weeks to get this refund completed! Also, I still don’t understand why this coul not have been done in the store .
