Request copy of a receipt

Dear. Customer Center Agent

 

Hello.
My name is Namsoon {removed per forum guidelines}. I recently returned to South Korea from the U.S.

 

I bought a mouse at the Best Buy store in the U.S. to present it to my nephew.
The model name is Logitech MX Ergo Plus Trackball Mouse.
He said the mouse is broken now.
And he contacted Logitech Customer Center and Best Buy Customer Center to resolve the issue, but they said he needed a receipt.

I bought a mouse last year, so I can't remember the exact information about the purchase.

Because I am not good at English, when I bought a mouse, I did not go to the store myself and asked the friend who attended the same church to buy it instead. She was able to speak English fluently. So I asked her.

And so sadly, she passed away at the end of last year by car-accident.
That's why I don't have a receipt, and I can't remember the exact information.


First of all, I'll fill it out as I can remember.
Please let me know if there is a shortage or need to be corrected.

-Phone Number: None (I currently live in South Korea, so I don't have an US phone number.)

-When to Buy: First half of last year (Maybe between Feb. and July.)

-Store Location: Maybe one of the stores in downtown Chicago. It's most likely purchased from the John Hancock Center branch.(I was in Chicago and LA last year.)

-Price: $79.99 ~ $99.99. I know the regular price is $99.99 and I think I bought it a little cheaper than this.
Maybe it's because she bought an open-box condition product.

Exact date of purchase

Exact total in U.S. dollars

Store address

Method(s) of payment

Your international phone number

 

Furthermore, if you were not the one who made this purchase and your friend was the one who visited the store instead, we would be unable to share this receipt with you in accordance with our Privacy Policy.  That said, if she used your credit or debit card to make the purchase, we would still need more precise information to proceed.
