On November 4, 2017, I purchased a Apple - MacBook Pro 15.4" Refurbished Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 4GB Memory -
128GB Hard Drive - Silver online at Bestbuy.com for $823. From the beginning this laptop was freezing-up on in the middle of any application I was in. I took it to the Bestbuy location in Summerville, SC and a Geek Squad representative looked at it and he was unable to recreate the problem i was having. I took it back home and it continued to freeze. I contacted Apple and read the representative the serial number. He told me that model has been having trouble with a main board and Apple was repairing that model for free (dead line was over). I contacted Bestbuy to let them know. They told me a 3rd party filled my order therefore they were not responsible for anything. I told them I PAID Bestbuy online for my order and I didn't know anything about a 3rd party. I asked for the 3rd party information and I was informed that Bestbuy did not do business with that 3rd party anymore. I said let me guess; they were sending out CRAP!
For many over 15 years, I have been purchasing new computers, tvs, and other items from Bestbuy. I would spend at least $1500 on electronics every year during Christmas. Since they sold me an expensive "paper weight", I have not spent one penny at their store. I did have a manager from the Summerville store call me but he said he couldn't do anything about it. And one more thing. I had no ideal I was buying a 10+ year old computer.
The purpose of this post is to make people aware of expense purchasing made online with Bestbuy!

I was told by Apple it was a 2010/2011 model.
