Refund not received.

I have an order I canceled on August 9th, but still have yet to receive a refund. It still shows awaiting authorization. I checked with my bank, but there isn't anything on their end. Getting close to a month now, and I know it doesn't take this long. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there no Best Buy rep around??? I would really like some help to ge my refund that's been nearly a month now waiting on.

The forums work on a first come, first serve basis and it can take a few days for one of the moderators to work through their queue to your request. Seeing as it has been about 4 days since your post they should be by soon to assist you. The only other way for assistance that tends to be more expedient is the 1-888-237-8289 phone number (1-888-BestBuy).
I am not a forum moderator nor voice of corporate. One of the corporate moderators will be with you as soon as they can for the official response from Best Buy. The forums work on a first come, first serve basis and it can take a while for a response.

Guess I'll give that number a call whenever I can get the chance. Doesn't seem to be any help here. Either I'm at the bottom of the list, or just ignored. But after a week of waiting, I'm never going to bother coming here for help ever again.

Like you, I tend to pay pretty close attention to my credit card statements and try to keep up to date on credits or refunds I'm expecting. Not having one show up can be a cause for concern most certainly and I regret you're having to cope with such a situation.

 

At the time an order is placed through BestBuy.com, a pre-authorization is made to the credit card used to ensure funds are available to complete your purchase. If your order is cancelled, the funds should be returned to your account subject to the policies of your bank or credit card issuer. BestBuy.com does not complete final billing for your order until shipping time.

 

If the funds reserved by the authorization have still not been released, please contact your credit card issuer or bank for further assistance.
