When you place an order on BestBuy.com with a credit or debit card, no funds are collected until the order is being fulfilled (delivered/picked up). During that time, it is only an authorization that may or may not be held by the bank. If the order is cancelled, nothing is being refunded to a credit or debit card, as no funds were collected by Best Buy. The authorization should simply drop off, and the funds should be released by the bank. This typically occurs within about a week, but can take up to a full billing cycle. With international orders, the process is often on the longer end of the spectrum. The timeframe for this to occur depends on your financial institution, so we would recommend connecting with them directly for a more specific timeframe.
