Refund Problem



Purchased a car stereo online on 15 December 21 and received it on the 17th of December.  I shipped it back to Best Buy on December 22nd and Best Buy received it on December 23rd according to the Fed-Ex website.  However it was not processed as returned until the 28th of December which is probably due to the Christmas holiday.  No worries there.  I waited but have not received a refund.  I called customer service who said I should see it within 48 hours which came and went.  Then I called customer service again and they said they were submitting a ticket and someone would contact me within 48 hours.  I dont understand why there is an issue.  The item was returned to Best Buy unopened. Best Buy confirmed they received the package, so I'm unsure as to why its taking so long to refund the money.  I fulfilled my part by returnuing the unopened product quickly, so I'm not sure why there is a hold up. If there is an issue I would appreciate being told what it is.    I would happy with any assistance I can get to help me understand why it is taking so long to receive a refund.  In the meantime, I've purchased another one and had that one installed in my car and am very happy with it.  In the future I'll take it to the store and get an immediate refund.
