Refund Limbo

Hi, I purchased a ps4 controller online, the package was damaged in transition during shipment so I decided that I did not want the product anymore. I had requested that bestbuy take the item back and to refund me. 

I called support and they told me that the product has yet to arrive back at the warehouse, but the shipping company OnTrac has confirmed with me that they did indeed ship it back to the warehouse. 


Bestbuy support lied to me that they did not receive the item, and therefore could not refund me. They have had the product since September 21st and it is now October 5th still I am left without my money back. In addition, I have not received a refund for the $10 Reward Certificate I used during the purchase.

I know whenever I return my purchases to a store, I’m hopeful my refund will make its way to me as soon as possible.  From what you’ve described, I can certainly understand your disappointment with this delay, but I’m optimistic I’ll be able to help turn this experience around, and offer my assistance.
