Received wrong product in the mail and no luck with Best Buy

Hi,

i have been trying to solve this issue over the chat or phone but it seems there is a confusion on the other side of the line cause eveytime there is something different, here is my story: 

So, i bough a computer that was on clearance on the website, applied for the best buy credit card, got approved and bought the laptop using it.

when i received the package, for my suprise, it was a small box with earphones inside, and funny thing was that the shipping label said 5 lbs and the box didnt even weight 1 lb, ok, of course i felt desperate and reach to the customer service over phone, they apologized and issued me another shipping label so i could return the package i received and since they didnt have the laptop for sale anymore, they would refund me the money. OK

lets talk about timeframe here:

I purchased the laptop on OCT - 13th

received the packege on OCT - 16th

so on the same day BB issued me a return shipping label and i returned the item. 

they received the package on OCT - 21

so, i called the customer service again and they said everything was right and i should receive the refund within a couple of days.. 

so, for my surprise, i receive the package back in my mail with a letter from BestBuy saying that they could not accept the return because it was not the laptop i bought! 

so i called again on the same day and spoke with another lady and she apologized again, saying that there was a mistake and they should not have send me the item back. so she issued me another return label and asked me to send it back:

i sent it back on NOV - 07

they received it on NOV - 12

so i am afraid i am going to receive the package back, right now i am in a big loss and no one seems to help me , every time i talk to someone either over the phone or in the chat they apologize and says that i will get the refund soon, but i havent got a refund confirmation email yet, i went to a local bb and they seemed surprised but said i have to deal with bb over the phone , they could not do anything. 

so please, can anyone help me?

i already have to pay for the laptop i never received, it was supposed to be a gift, so i ended up in a bad situation.Everytime i contact support they ask for the same story and i have to keep writting it again everytime, so i hope here someone can read and maybe try to help me out.

Welcome to our community forums. I know if I were in your shoes I would certainly be surprised to receive this package back after returning it. Just to update this post, for the second time, best buy sent the item back to me saying that it was not the laptop i bought, OF COURSE it is not the laptop, neither I have received the laptop, and no one seems to be able to help me, what am i suppose to do at this point? should i go to the police and try to file a claim? can i bring the earbuds to a local bb store and see if they can help me? is there a number of a manager that could help me?

one of the mods here tried to help but was limited to answer me that they could not accept the return, so should i try to call the best buy credit card and file a dispute?

 

please someone help me, i have no ideia what i should do, please direct me to someone that could help me.
