Received empty box

I recently purchased a dji mini 2 fly drone though best buy online and choose same day delivery not knowing and not informed anywhere in the best buy website that it will be shipped by a third party company called “shipt” (never heard of any such company). Opened the package after a few hours and found that drone and few other components are missing. The package just had the remote controller. We t to the best buy store for a replacement and was denied replacement and was told to lodge a police complaint and take it to the best buy customer service. The agent at the best buy location told that the item was stolen by the shipping company and I should take it up with the local police and that Best buy or DJI is not responsible for the stolen part since there was no sign of tempering on the shipping box or product box. I called the police non-emergency line and a lady officer told me that if there was no tempering with the box then there is no evidence that it was stolen and cannot take the case as fraud or theft and that I should take it up with best buy itself. I have seen a few cases of dji shipping empty boxes to people and dont understand why best buy is being so uncooperative. It is not my responsibility to take care of missing parts when it arrived that way at my door steps. This is really frustrating and disheartening. I am never going to best buy again.
