Received $100 e-gift card from Best Buy with NO PIN. Please fix this!

Not sure where to begin here. I've already wasted a couple hours of my time back and forth on the phone with various people over the phone trying to resolve this problem. I purchased a Pixel 3A yesterday, which included Best Buy's $100 e-gift card bonus. When I picked my phone up in store, I was told that my e-gift card would be emailed to me. This happened...with a catch.

Best Buy emailed my e-gift card with NO PIN NUMBER, so it cannot be used! Yes I have confirmed everything on my end for the e-gift card to be delivered. Yes i have tried multiple browsers etc. The issue remains. Afterg bounced around on the phone with various departments in Best Buy customer service, I finally got a hold of someone who confirmed an "error" in the generation or sending of these e-gift cards. This person opened an internal support case on my behalf.

My pending purchase is time sensitive, and I need someone from Best Buy to correct this problem immediately. My current e-gift card is sitting in my email inbox, completely useless without a pin.

If someone from Best Buy can simply send me a new $100 e-gift card which actually WORKS, and just void the other card or something, it would be greatly appreciated. Definitely already wasted over $100 in my time on this, and it's incredibly frustrating.

Thank you for posting this!  The exact same thing happened to me.  Ordered a Pixel 3a online and received the $100 e-gift card but there is NO PIN number.  Phoned in and got the runaround - complete waste of my time.  I thought I was going crazy.  Best Buy needs to resolve this ASAP - it's completely unacceptable.

Sorry to hear you had the same thing happen, but I'm also glad it's not just me. So far nothing from Best Buy on this. A local store manager directed me to the support hotline numbers which were no help at all.

Like you said, Best Buy needs to fix this ASAP! Someone else over on Slickdeals forums has reported the same issue.

Same here.  This is ridiculous.  I purchased the Pixel3A with the intent of using the e-gift card towards purchase of a second Pixel 3A.  Now the Pixel 3A has sold out locally.  Moronic.

Yep. That was my intent as well. So scummy on the part of Best Buy. I'm sure they'll conveniently fix the issue once the Pixel 3A promotion has ended. I should have gone with the B&H sale. TERRIBLE SERVICE by Best Buy! For the record, I, like many others as indicated on Slickdeals forums, have not received a working $100 e-gift card at this point!

I actually had cancelled my order with B&H to purchase the phone in-stock at Bestbuy!

I am also missing my pin for my igft card; can I email you so I can get this fixed?  Phone was for mothert's day and I was goiong to give her the gift card for a case, and now Im stuck!!!

Same problem. Made an account just to post this. That gift card was the main reason I purchased this phone, otherwise I would've waited for the OnePlus 7! I'm glad to know it's just not me. Best Buy needs to fix this immediately! Calling was useless, hopefully you guys here can do something..

Has there been progress in resolving the issue?  Also, what is the estimated time to resolve?

If not resolved soon, I'll simply stop using Bestbuy for purchases altogether.
