I feel your frustration. I am going through a similar situation with an Apple Watch purchase from Best Buy.  Box arrived but with watch missing I have filed a police report, sent a  narrative with photos of empty box, and have contacted my state's Attorney General.  

My order date was a recent one 11/22. 

Best Buy needs to make this right.
