I bought a samsung 85 inch tv today from best buy on my best buy credit card. Even though it was a a open box i bought it online and allowed me to puurchase geek squad. When i got to the store to pick up the tv and the employees be care ful with the purchase and that they are low of tape. When i got home i noticed the tv had a crack on it and the picture is messed up. I called geek squad and the store and they said it is my responsibilty. I am withing the 15 day window(im on day 1 of the purchase). What is my recourse? Best say i am on my own I have Chevy Tahoe with plenty of room in the vehicle. Why would best buy sell open box tv's and then not offer a refund on these products? Further more why geek squad protection be available on these items if you cant even simply return this product. I felt the emplyee felt skeptical about me buying this tv open box but didnt want say anything. If i knew this was the case I would never have bought this. No where does it state that best buy doesnt take back open box items.
