I have had a similar experience with returning an external hard drive to Best Buy. I bought it online, returned it to the store and they stated my PayPal account would be credited. This was 7/31/20. Is it typical that I should still be waiting for the refund or is it some other error?

Welcome to our community forums. Having recently revamped the backup process for my computer, I know that not every hard drive works for every situations and you may need to look into alternatives. I appreciate you reaching out to us regarding this refund. It certainly sound strange for this to be taking so long and I would be glad to see how I may be able to help.
Oftentimes, PayPal refunds are processing within a week but in some cases it can take up 30 days. Since this refund was processed so long ago I would like to take a closer look at this order and return. I will need a bit more information in order to do so.
