Hello. I have the same issue. I purchased a laptop that became defective within the 1 year manufacturer warranty. Geek Squad manager did a return in the store for a full refund to my PayPal, as that was the original purchase method. That was on December 11th, 2018. Today is January 13th, 2019 and still no refund nor record of a pending refund with PayPal. Many calls have been made to PayPal and they do not see anything. I been in contact with Best Buy customer. Service, each time receiving an apology and saying that they have processed the refund, yet nothing. I even went back to the store, no help given. Beyond frustrated at this point. I need this refund to help go towards paying for the new laptop that was purchased that very same day at the same Best Buy store. I am not happy with the service I have been given to this point.

Update: It is now January 14th, 2019 and still no refund. Emailed (removed per forum guidelines) January 5th, no response. Many failed customer service phone calls and chats. Best Buy says to check with PayPal as they have processed the refund on their end. PayPal says Best Buy is giving me the run around because they don't see a refund in their system. I have a Best Buy return receipt saying I am to get a PayPal refund? Why is this taking so long? I have heard I will see my refund within 24 hours at least three out of the last four phone calls. HELP!

Update: Kyle was awesome and I have received my refund a of today, Tuesday-March 5, 2019.

He truly went above and beyond to help me.

I appreciate everything he did to help me! ☺
