Not much you can do about it. I was double billed as well. I called customer support and the unfriendly care less person I talked with just said thats how we do things. It will fall off eventually when you get your order. Well mine isnt scheduled to be delivered for a week so I guess Best Buy will just hold my extra$350 till then. What a  way to do business. Will not do business with them again. Plenty other places to order from

Same thing here... double billed. Called into customer service and I got some super unfriendly unhelpful person that told me thats just how we do it. She then said it will fall off once I receive my TV. Well thats not for a week. Does Best Buy not really care about how people are struggling right now????? To hold someones money for a week for no reason... and what gives them the authority to charge someones account more than what they agreed to? People cannot afford this right now and it is a terrible way to do business. I will never purchase from best buy again because of this and I have always bought all of my electronics from Best Buy.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us here on our community forums. I know I would be surprised to discover two charges on my account. I would be happy to give you some more information about how this process works. When an order is placed on our website, an authorization hold is placed on your account to ensure that funds are available. This is normally removed after three to five business days, but can depend on your banking institution. Once your order has been prepared for shipment or delivery you will be charged.

 

I'd be happy to make sure you weren't charged twice for this order. I see you sent a private message to another moderator but I will need one last bit of information. Can you please send me a private message that includes your full name? I look forward to hearing back from you.
