Exactly the same thing happened to me. Bestbuy is selling inactivated SIM card bundle. All they need to do before shipping out is to have someone scan the bar code on the back of the package. Yet they do not want to do that. Every customer has to contact Cricket customer service to figure out that and return the items

Just to let everyone know what is the problem: when Bestbuy sell SIM card bundle in store they will have to scan two bars on the back of the package. That tells Cricket the SIM card is sold and will pop up into Cricket system. However when you purchase at Bestbuy website, there is no one scan that for you. And Bestbuy online store just ship it out without scanning. Therefore cricket will never know the SIM card is sold. And eventually each customer has to spend hours with different customer service just to figure out the only solution is to return the package. What a waste of time!!!
