Just had the same thing happen to me. Two separate orders and by the time I received the notice from Best Buy that the orders were being processed, it was too late to cancel them. After being rerouted to numerous different people, I finally reached someone who I could barely understand his broken English and he told me to contact my local law enforcement...... what the hell is my local law enforcement going to do for two orders going to different states. Very disgusted with the customer service of Best Buy. Thank goodness my American Express customer service was able to at least cancel the charges

Welcome to our community forum. Having had my identity stolen I know how shocking it can be to see an unauthorized charge and how much of a time sink it is to get everything back to normal. I would be happy to give you some more information on what steps to take moving forward. If you haven't done so, I would recommend changing your BestBuy.com password as well as the password to the email address associated with it to help prevent someone from accessing it again. It sounds like you've already contacted your bank but I would also request a new credit card if you have not done so.

 

We recommend filing a report with your local law enforcement so we can cooperate with their investigation. I'd be happy to make sure that our phone agents got this information over to the correct team to investigate these orders. I will need a bit more information in order to do so.
