I had this happen six times yesterday. I tried all sorts of different ways to complete my order. I spoke to someone on Facebook chat and was told that they didn't "compensate customers for inconvenience" because I asked for a discount on the much more expensive item I ended up buying after trying eight times to but another product. My address, phone, etc were all right . I ended up placing nine orders between Saturday and Sunday and I think the last one went through but it has been telling me preparing order for about a day now. I can't make changes to that order either. * I tried to buy one item a total of eight times yesterday and the first two times it told me that the item was not really available and was out of stock after I placed the order .

I appreciate you posting regarding your purchase! Orders may cancel for different reasons sometimes. It could be that the purchase does not meet BestBuy.com’s Conditions of Use. When you place an online order, we authorize your credit card to make sure sufficient credit is available. A hold is placed on funds equal to your order total until the order is fulfilled. We will not officially charge you until your order has been fulfilled.

 

What you are most likely seeing is an authorization hold, and not actual charges. This authorization hold is generally released within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank. If the card used is an international card, it may take a bit longer. I am sure this was advised to you by my colleague on Facebook. I am happy to look into your current order. My problem had nothing to do with an authorization hold..I didn't mention anything about an issue with that. 🤷
