I placed an order for a Sony A6400 camera that was around $960+ total and there was free next day shipping available so I chose that option. The next day no package arrived and I thought maybe due to COVID there were shipping delays so I waited a few more days to contact best buy regarding the package. When I called they said it was lost and that they were unable to send me a new one and can only issue me a refund. I was upset at first cause I bought it on sale but in the end they said there was nothing else they could do for me. My options were request a refund or wait for the package to arrive so I requested the refund. The next day I got a refund for $65 but not the full amount of purchase. I called to ask why was it only $65 and they said within two to three days I would receive email confirmation for the full refund. So three days later when I didn’t get an email, I called best buy again and they said I would receive it the next day. The next day, I did not get email confirmation so I called them again. They escalated the claim and said within 24 hours I would get email confirmation with the refund information. I did not get refund confirmation email so I called again and they said give it another 24 hours. It’s been 12 days since I made this purchase and I’m out $900+ dollars with nothing to show. Nobody has actually tried to help me during this frustrating process and I would highly recommend not buying from best buy during this period and just stick to amazon because if something goes wrong, they aren’t going to help you and will do nothing to rectify the situation.
