Put in the wrong email address in online order

I went to the store to pick up a product they aid they had online, they had another version of it. Which was much more expensive. I placed the order in the store to have it shipped to my house and the email was misspelled. I was wondering if possible to change the email. I know you need my name and number

Welcome to Best Buy's community forums.  I shop online quite often, but sometimes it's just easier to go in the store to make a purchase.  I'm sorry to hear that your local Best Buy was out of stock with a particular item you had in mind, but it sounds like we were able to help you place a new order just fine.  That being said, I see why it would be harder to track an order if you weren't receiving email updates, and I apologize for our having disappointed you in that regard.

 

Once an order has been created, the contact information associated with it cannot be altered.  If you have the order number handy, you should be able to track it online here.  That said, I am happy to provide you with any updates and make sure your email is correct for future orders.  You're welcome to send me a private message with the information below and I will see what I can do to help.  A private message can be sent by logging into the forum and selecting the blue “Private Message” button in my signature.
