Purchased Best Buy Gift Card online and received not activated

I ordered a $50 gift card as a gift and was received today but is not activated!

I called 888 Best Buy and they told me the card iidoesn't need to be activated.
 
Tried checking via Gift Card Balance – Best Buy website and it gave me an error message stating the card number or pin is not valid.
 
Called the number on the back and its telling me its not activated! How embarrassing and frustrating! 
 
Chatted with Best Buy customer service name Kane {removed per forum guidelines} and asked me for card number and pin only to tell me that the pin is invalid. Stated he already escalated the issue and live support will contact me? Yet he never asked for my email or phone number. I emailed bestbuygiftcardsupport@cashstar.com myself and I'm still waiting for a response.

How can I activate this gift card?!?

Just to verify. You ordered the giftcard thru bestbuy.com or a third party?

If you purchaced it in your name call them back with the order number and tell them you lost the card and would like it reissued.
The phone support people are an overseas call center that only read off the paper in front of them. If you ask then somthing on the paper they can handle it. (Like reissuing a card)
