Hi BestBuy community -
Beware of shipping expensive items! I purchased a $1100 Samsung Galaxy S22, and received the package the next day, which I was thrilled about. Until I picked up the box from the carrier at the door - felt it was super light, and when i jostled it it felt like nothing was inside, so I opened it quick, and it was empty - not even packing peanuts - totally empty. I caught the delivery person before they left, and they shrugged and said "bring it up with the company".
So I contacted BestBuy support. The first person said they'd get back to me by email so I left it. 5 hours later still nothing so I contacted again. Apparently they have to open an investigation with the shipper and it will take 5-7 business days. This makes me super nervous because reading this forum it doesn't sound promising that things will work out. Not only that, but now I'm without a phone for a full week because my old one is busted. If I get a phone at all.
All in all an awful experience even if I do get my phone - do not order delivery for expensive items from BestBuy.
