Purchase cancelled for no reason

So i just tried to buy a game headset from Best Buy online and they just cancelled my order cuz they dont ship to my address which is in Florida. So i change my address and then they cancelled my Order saying: "we had to cancel your order because it has exceeded our orderable quantity limits".....


I mean what the hell is the problem with Best Buy Online handling? I only order 1 headset and it seems like they just make up every excuse to not let me buy its RIDICULOUS!

Welcome to our forums.  I know how frustrating it can be to have an order cancel unexpectedly, and it's disappointing to hear this seems to be the case with your recent attempts to order with us through


As outlined in the terms and conditions of our site, please know that Best Buy reserves the right to cancel your order at any time after it has been placed, or place quantity limits on an order.  I'll include the relevant verbiage below:


Order Confirmation

Our order confirmation to you does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. At any time after receipt of your order, we may accept, decline, or place quantity or other limits on your order for any reason. We may impose these limits on a per-person, per-household, per-order, or any other basis. If we reject, limit, or otherwise modify your order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address you provide to us. If we cancel an order or part of an order that we’ve already charged you for, we’ll refund you the full amount of the canceled portion of the order.


With that said, I would like to take a closer look into these orders, and offer any additional insight I can.  For me to do so, I'll ask you to use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me:


  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your cancelled order numbers

As mentioned, be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button to get this sent my way, and if you’re accessing our site on a mobile device, you may need to switch to “Full” or “Desktop” view before this button is visible to you.
