I was promised a refund for a lost package and was given the runaround and false deadline after false deadline, chat support and phone support don't seem to care. I have over 4 cases escalated, with Case number 278312685 being the latest. I was told to wait 72 hours after 72 hours for 11 days now and no action or no communication whatsoever except when I call or go on chat I get promised a "guaranteed refund" in 24-72 hours and I should just wait for the backend team to finish doing it.

Thank you for posting on our forums regarding your experience, however I do wish it was under better circumstances. Not getting a refund would be frustrating, and I can understand wanting this addressed. I'd like the chance to follow up on this and assist.

I want to relay that when it comes to refunds, we will reimburse you the same way you paid for them. Refunds can take up to 10-15 business days process, and depending on your bank's processing time the refund can take up to one billing cycle to reflect on your account. This has been the case since January the 3rd you just gave me the same copy and paste response I keep getting in chat. So far it's been 11 days and I've received no communication and no refund has been processed on your end.

I have now filed a claim with the BBB because of the experience I had and because of this atrocious customer service. If anyone by any chance reads this, please steer clear from bestbuy and take your business to a retailer that respects their customers and doesn't lie to them.
