Hello, I am trying to purchase a Dell inspirion all in one computer with the sku 6398138. On lline it is marked as sold out but when I went to my local store and inquired, the associate and department manager were unable to even order the unit because they told me it has yet to be shipped by Dell to Best Buy. The code BBY-5MP54FX indicates it was made by Dell for Best Buy. They claimed it was a new Dell model and assumed Dell was making their own first before sending any to Best Buy. Is this true? If so why does the web site have it marked as sold out when it has never been available to be purchased. If it what they told me is true when will it be available for purchase?
Thank you. mgmgpd (Richard)

Hello, mgmgpd,
Thanks for joining our online community.
Generally speaking, if an item is showing as "sold out" on our website, we have already sold through our available inventory and are awaiting more. Occasionally, the same message may be put up as a placeholder for new products. We wouldn't be able to promise if or when more might become available, but I would encourage you to keep an eye on the product page. The product page will be one of the first places to be updated if it becomes available for ordering again.

Thank you Fey
I do keep and eye on the product page. I just hope it will come available soon since my current computer is beginning to show its age.
