I bought a TV July 15. Price went down $100. Dollars a few days later. Then a week alter it went down another $100. That is $200 within 30 days yet they only allow me the first $100 adjustment. So your price guarantee is not really for 30 days it is only for the initial markdown. Best Buy should honor the entire 30 day period as advertised and refund $200 not just the first $100

I understand your frustration. However, the disclaimer for the low price gurantee only covers one price match per item. It also does not cover clearance and is only valid for your return period, which is standard of 14 days.

The way I see it "price match" is not defined by the process. Price match is a guarantee of price within 30 days. Just because the process requires submitting two transactions in order to track two Best Buy price changes (no clearance items here) does not constitute two price matches. A price match is a guarantee of the lowest price in any 30 day window. The way someone coded this transaction into their computer system should not dictate the policy. They could always back out the original price match transaction and submit the final price match.

But you can only claim the low price gurantee one time per item.

Welcome back to the Best Buy Community forums. Thanks for taking the time to post about this.
As noted above, under our Price Match Guarantee, each purchase qualifies or a single price match. If the price falls a second time, we would not do a second price match.
That said, I'd be happy to look into this to make sure that's the case here. Please send me a private message through the link in my signature below this post. If you include your name, email address, and phone number, I can review that purchase.
