Pre-ordering Charge

Hello! Every time I purchase a pre-oder item bust buy charges my card (to verify my bank or whatever) then puts the money back a few days later. But the charge has been pending for 5 days. Do they still do pre-charge and its just taking forever to go through or what? Thanks!

When making a purchase on our website we place a hold on your account to ensure that funds are available. This is typically removed within two to three business days but can depend on your banking institution.

 

Once your order has been shipped or picked up at your local Best Buy we will charge you for this product. It's possible that the holiday weekend is causing this hold to take longer than usual to be removed, I would recommend reaching out to your bank or card issuer for more information on this timeline.
