Learned recently unfortunately that Best Buy doesn't seem to have any real way of sending in reviews of service digitally or posting reviews. I spoke to an employee on the customer service chat feature and it just felt obvious she didn't really take my concern seriously or plan to do anything about it, which led me to believe calling the help number would've just gone the same way. Been told "sorry" and that they'll tell someone else I was upset. Which ultimately does nothing. I work customer service and retail and I know it can be frustrating when faced with a complaint but it was disappointing to experience just a lack of concern from Best Buy.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had unfortunate experience in terms of orders arriving damaged. I placed an order from Best Buy for a box set of a TV show and the item was thrown in an empty bubble mailer with no padding or protection at all. Needless to say, it arrived with the mailer torn open and the item extremely damaged. (I have photos documented of this). I tried to dismiss it as one careless occurrence, and returned it to get an exchange. When I received the replacement, that one was damaged, too. At that point I didn't feel it was worth it to risk purchasing from Best Buy again since it was already made clear they don't prioritize packaging. I do shipping in my own workplace and we package stuff with padding to always ensure even non-fraglie items are not damaged in transit. Just sucks to see Best Buy doesn't express the same care because I know from experience it's not difficult.
I've shopped with Best Buy for a long time. I love that they still sell movies. But when you're a tech company that can't even properly package your items so they're protected? It just feels obvious they don't actually care. Especially considering I was never given an option to review my experience afterwards and the "chat" on the website did nothing. Eventually, I just resorted to buying elsewhere which sucks because I would've rather just shopped from Best Buy. I won't return for purchases like this.
I doubt they would ship a 4K player without protection, or a phone, or a computer. So why not care for your movies? Really disappointing stuff. Just wondering if anyone else out here is encountering the same thing in purchasing movies from them.

Hey there, daugetted,
While I'm sad to hear that you've joined our community under these circumstances, I'd like to give you a warm welcome here. I have a small movie collection myself, so I can totally understand why you would be feeling this way based on how your recent order arrived. It is never within our intentions for an item to arrive in a less than perfect state, and I appreciate you taking the time to provide that feedback.
As our team works out of the Corporate Campus, I'd like to document this within our system and do all that I can to assist. To get started, can you please send me a private message that includes your full name, phone number, email address, and order number? You can send a secure message by using the Private Message button below in my signature. I hope to hear from you soon!
Best Regards,
