Pending transaction

So my father wanted to buy his grandson a laptop online through Best Buy for his graduation present. So he did so online from California. For my son who is in Arizona where we both reside. Ind you I called the Best Buy here in Arizona where I would be picking up the laptop that my father order for my son for a surprise. Before hand just to make sure it was possible. The gal that worked there insured me that we can do so that my father would have to choose a family or friend to pick up the laptop from that particular store as long as I had my ID. So with that being said he followed all directions and chose me the mother to pick up at that particular store with my ID after he made the purchase. So after work I went in to pick it up they said they had no order ready for me to pick up under my fathers account. And that all they seen was a pending transaction. How is this possible and they are giving no answers to how we are going to be reimbursed or if the laptop is going to ever be available for pick. How can this be. I am frustrated and need answer onto why I can’t just pick up the laptop like the gal instructed we could as long as we followed directions! Please help I need answer my son starts class on Thursday.

While it’s great to hear your father is looking to purchase a laptop for your son’s graduation, I’m sorry to hear there seems to be an issue with his order processing. 

 

We’ll be happy to look into this order further, however, we’ll need to speak with the person listed as the purchaser of this laptop, in this case, your father.  He’s welcome to create his own account here on our Support Forums and send me a private message with his first and last name, phone number, email address, and order number, or if he would prefer to discuss this order with us by phone, (888)-BESTBUY or (888)-237-8289 would be his best option.
