Pending Transactions

Hi, I recently bought 2 Nintendo Switch lites and a copy of animal crossings on Best Buy.com on April 27th. I really wanted the whole order to be shipped to me but I guess I selected for the game to be picked up in store, which is fine. Anyways, the total for the order was $512.24 but it put a pending transaction of $512.25 from “Bestbuy.com” on my account. I paid for the ”express shipping” so that I could get my items as soon as possible. This morning at 3am, I was charged an additional $447.08 from “Bestbuycom{removed per forum guidelines}Bestbuycom8059440 888-Bestbuymnus”. I was just wondering why I was charged this additional amount and if I could please get this issue resolved as I have rent coming up in a few days. I already tried calling, I don’t have time to wait 60+ minutes to all day as I also have to work for most of the day.

Is anyone alive on Best Buy’s online response team or is this just a complaint trash can?

When making an order on our website, an authorization hold is placed on your account to ensure that funds are available. This will typically be removed within three to five business days but differs depending on your bank. Once your order has been shipped, you will be charged.
