I canceled my Cyberpunk 2077 pre-order on October 2nd. I purchased it using PayPal in September 2019. BestBuy received an error when attempting to refund the order. They were supposed to research the issue and call me back (they didn't). I contacted PayPal and PayPal told me within minutes that they cannot process refunds if the item was paid for over 6 months ago. They said BestBuy just needs to refund the $51 using PayPal (but not on the original order). I called BestBuy customer service again and explained this. The agent sent 3 service tickets in one call for someone from second level support to call me and still no return call. I have no voicemails from anyone from BestBuy. It's now been over three weeks since the order was canceled with no resolution in sight. I just need $51.35 refunded to me for an item I'm never going to receive. Calling BestBuy customer service just generates another service ticket with no resolution. Please help!

Our goal is to provide customers with the best shopping experience we can; an important part of that is having it be easy to get a refund if you choose to cancel an order. That's why it hurts me to learn that hasn't been the case for you!
Although I wish getting your refund had been the smooth process we had planned to provide, I'm glad you let us know when it didn't work out that way. I'd be happy to take a deeper look into this to see what we can do to help!
For me to get started, can you use the "Private Message" feature in my signature to send over your full name, phone number, email and order number that cancelled?
