Package marked Delivered but it's not here!!

I am so scared right now. Over $300 probably gone for good.

 

I am a first time Best Buy customer. Another retailer was out of the item I wanted so I decided to order with best buy. I have 2 orders placed, one was for a nintendo switch and mario kart and the other was mario wii u deluxe and a sonic game. I had already placed the order for the console and kart game when we decided the sale was really good so we would get 2 more games.

 

Packages were marked delivered yesterday, with only 1 package being at my door. I am missing the console and kart game and needless to say I am not happy. I was so stupid to spend so much online for a delivery with a store I've never even bought from. I called Fed ex last night and first I was asked to remain on hold, 20+ mins go by, and we are "disconnected". The next ding a ling I spoke to said "It's marked delivered. It has been delivered." Are you serious?? So basically they can just drop it off wherever, and its no longer there problem. Or help themselves to it? I am wondering how many drivers may be helping themselves knowing that the customer will just be told nothing can be done by the merchant??? I don't know, I have never had a package marked delivered, and not be at my door. Packages lost yes, but never marked as delivered and not been. I have been going nuts looking in peoples yards, knocking on doors asking if they received a package from best buy for me, and if its okay if I look around their yards. Someone online said I am likely going to have to file a chargeback with my bank!!! I wish I had waited for this to restock at the other retailer.

I know whenever I order something, I keep a very very close eye on tracking information so I can look for a package as soon as it arrives. I can understand your concern to be unable to locate this package and would be glad to see how we may be able to best assist you.

 

Based on your message, it sounds like you've only been in touch with FedEx, is that correct? I'd like to see what options we may have available to help and would like to begin by taking a look at this order and tracking information. I will need a couple more details in order to do so.

Andrew this is Marie k. My daughter could not be helped by you because the purchases are from my debit card. I can verify permission was given. We share our finances. You can call me here at home to speak with me and verify if you need.
