Package going to wrong address.

I ordered a GPU from Bestbuy.com and it is going to my old address 3 hours away from my current residence. I didn’t realize till this morning so it was to late to make changes. I contacted bestbuy and they said they would get it all changes through FedEx. I just got a email saying that they couldn’t change and to contact back after it has been delivered to the wrong address. What else can be done? FedEx is saying that the sender can make changes to the package but the receiver cannot. So why can’t bestbuy just fix it. If it is delivered to the wrong address and never recovered to I lose my money?

Welcome to our forums.  My apologies for the delay in our response, as we’ve been experiencing a bit of a backlog on our Support Forums over the past few days, and it’s causing us to reply a bit later than we’d typically expect. 

 

From what you’ve described in your post, it sounds like the support team you were working with had requested you contact them again, once your order was marked as delivered by FedEx.  Have you had a chance to follow up with them since posting to our Support Forums?  If you’re still in need of assistance, feel free to send me a private message with the following information:

  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number
