I ordered two $50 gift cards on March 27th of this year. FedEx misdelivered them to a completely different address and someone that was not me signed for them. I contacted FedEx, they did an investigation, and concluded the packages as lost/misdelivered. They then recommend I contact Best Buy to ask that they authorize a claim against FedEx which would then have FedEx compensate me for the lost packages.
However, they refused.
I have contacted Customer Care multiple times asking that they contact Fed Ex so that they can authorize the claim. Every single time they refuse to contact Fed Ex because "the packages were signed". Like, no duh, but not signed by me and not delivered to my address! They keep telling me to contact FedEx and wouldn't budge.
Well, I had already contacted FedEx, as previously mentioned, and created two claims (one for each lost package) and told me to contact Best Buy to politely ask, once again, to contact Fed Ex and to simply authorize both claims that I have against Fed Ex. Their explanation being that the shipper (Best Buy) has to authorize the claims. To no surprise, Best Buy's customer care once again refused to do anything.
So who am I to contact now? Fed Ex won't process the claims because the account is owned by Best Buy. Best Buy refuses to do anything because the packages were signed.

All fellow customers, avoid Best Buy like the plague.
I have never in my life experienced such backwards asinine crap as Best Buy customer support. They absolutely refused to contact Fed Ex to file the claim that I've been told by Fed Ex that Best Buy has to file. They will not budge on their stance because "there'ss a signature on the package" despite that signature NOT BEING MINE. None of these customer care advocates nor their claims department will do their actual job and actually investigate. None of them will actually contact Fed Ex DESPITE BEING GIVEN THE EVIDENCE THEY ARE ASKING FOR!
Avoid this company.

LOL, something EVEN WORSE IS HAPPENING TO ME! Long story short, i purchased a computer from Best Buy About two weeks ago, it was delivered without SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION. which prompted best buy to send a replacement, guess what? replacement came i went to the store to return it for my refund, they said I WOULD BE ABLE TO GET MY REFUND I CALLED COPORATE WHILE IN THE STORE ON PHONE IN BEST BUY. They LIED TO MY they keep saying the refund is coming, last representative i spoke to said MY REFUND CLAIM GOT DENIED EVEN THO I WENT IN THE STORE and they promised me i would get it. I have it ALL DOCUMENTED also with the FOUR representatives i spoke with
