I ordered a router extender and when checking out I selecting to pay extra in order to get it delivered next day. That meant it was expected to arrive today, as a matter if fact my order is still saying it is going to be delivered today despite the fact that it has been "preparing" all day.
I called in and spoke to the machine and managed to get tracking information and the delivery service is saying it will be delivered tomorrow.
The irony in this situation, if I hadn't paid for the overnight shipping I was scheduled to receive it tomorrow as anyways. So what was the point in paying extra to have it delivered overnight if it wasn't going to be delivered until the expected date for free shipping? Since it is fairly obvious I'm not getting my package today, which only the delivery service seems to want to admit to, can I get a refund for the delivery cost that I didn't get? Maybe get an actual update on the order status thats more truthful instead of your website giving me some form of horrible false hope?
I get everyone's crazy but at least most places will admit when they can't get something to you on time, rather than asking for extra to do an overnight and then not committing to that which the customer paid for!
