Orders cancelled however best buy didnt remove the hold on CC

Dear best buy
I had two orders cancelled on Apr 30..however these 2 holds were not released by you
Its been two weeks..whats going on?..i am in US and unable to use my credit card due to this issue

My customer email is {removed per forum guidelines}

Forget about buying online...i am from brazil and had my order cancelled twice on apr 30...filled a complaint here and no one could give me a reason
I ended up buying in a store when i arrived in US and almost not getting the laptip i wanted

Welcome back to the forums. I understand how having your credit card tied up with an authorization hold like this can be very inconvenient.

 

You mentioned that you are from Brazil. If your credit card is based there, it could take up to 30 days for the authorization hold to be removed. This is true with all international credit cards.

 

My best advice is to reach out to your bank or credit card provider. They may be able to help you out with this.

I called them 3 days after the cancellation..nothing to do on their side
Do you confirm that the two authorization holds were removed by best buy?

I can check into your order to see if I can determine if there are two holds. As I said, they likely won't be released for 30 days.
