Ordered cancelled despite a BB customer service rep entering new payment method

I go back to school soon and needed a laptop. At 1 AM on 3May, I got an email stating my payment information needed to be updated. It said it failed, so I tried to reenter and it wouldn't take. At 10:01 AM on 3 May, I called Best Buy to resolve my payment update issue. The customer service rep had it handled and updated quickly and sent the payment update confirmation email at 10:08 AM on 3 May. Crisis averted, woo! Well at 1:14 AM on 4 May, another email comes. My order has been cancelled. Why? Please help.

Welcome to our Best Buy Forum community! Getting a new laptop is an exciting purchase, so we appreciate that you placed your order with us. That said, the experience you described is far from the one we intended so it's discouraging to hear your order still cancelled.

 

There are a few different reasons that can cause an order to cancel, which we go over in our Forum Knowledge Base article Why Was My Order Cancelled? However, if none of those reasons seem to fit, please use the "Private Message" option in my signature to provide your full name, phone number, email and order number so I can review possible cancellation reasons on my end.
