Ordered E-gift card online. Messed up and nobody can help.

[ Edited ]

I ordered an E-gift card on the 22nd. The Email address I sent it to was off by one letter. This was not the main issue however, because the order number I received in the Email thanking for my purchase was {removed per forum guidelines}. Everyone I talked to told me that was wrong because it should start with BBY. After a couple hours of jumping from person to person being on hold I just decided to say screw it and buy another card. Yet another CND Number. Except the order failed to process. I did not have a Best Buy account at the time of purchasing. For some reason nobody is able to find my order to help me.

Assuming you ordered them from BestBuy and not a third party, have you tried calling cash star? That's who manages best buys egift cards. 855-820-0485

Hi,AngryCustomer6,

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. Big thanks to nckhammond for jumping in with that answer. He's right on.

E-gift cards are sold by CashStar, not Best Buy, so support is directly through them. You can get support on e-gift cards here. I hope they are able to get this resolved for you quickly so you can use those cards.

Please let me know if I can help out with anything else.

Sincerely,
