Order status in progress

At 6th Nov 10am, I purchased a MacBook pro online and paid for same-day shipping. My order status has been, "In Progress," all day, and it's 23:40 pm. Until now, i didn't receive any email or text from Best buy. How quickly are order statuses updated once they're shipped? Although I don't receive any email or notification, I'm sure that I will not be able to receive my order today, is the same-day shipping fee of $5.99 refunded?

Also, I saw many delay posts on the forum. Will my order gonna be delayed? When I can receive a notification or when I can receive my order?

We’re happy to be able to offer same-day delivery on a variety of items in select areas and ZIP codes, and while I’m glad to hear you were able to utilize it for your recent MacBook Pro order, it’s disappointing to hear it may not arrived to you as soon as expected.
